AmberLuLu Bubble Tea & Desserts is hiring Seasonal Event Baristas to join our team for our busy spring and summer event season.

This position supports both our café and our mobile boba food truck, serving customers at festivals, markets, and community events throughout the area. Event days are fast paced, high energy, and require strong teamwork.

We are looking for dependable individuals who enjoy customer service and can thrive in a busy environment with long event shifts.

Important:
This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, as most events take place during these times. Shifts may range from 5 to 12+ hours depending on event schedules.

Applicants must also have reliable transportation to travel to event locations when working on the food truck.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working events, meeting new people, and being part of a fun and energetic team.

Job Type

Seasonal / Part Time / Full Time (Event Season)

Hours

• 25 to 40+ hours per week depending on event schedule
• Open availability required
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Event shifts may range 5 to 12+ hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve bubble tea beverages according to AmberLuLu recipes and quality standards
• Provide friendly and engaging customer service
• Work efficiently during high volume service periods
• Operate POS system and process transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
• Assist with food truck setup and breakdown at events
• Work in both store and outdoor event environments
• Support team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older
• Open availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work long shifts (5 to 12+ hours)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable working in fast paced and outdoor environments
• Reliable transportation required for travel to event locations
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, or food service experience
• Experience working events, festivals, or food trucks
• Customer service experience

Compensation

After completing training, baristas may choose one of the following pay structures:

Option 1: Fixed Pay Rate
$10.00 to $15.00 per hour based on experience and availability

Option 2: Base Pay + Tips
$10.00 to $13.50 per hour plus tips

Tips may significantly increase overall earnings depending on event volume.
