Whether it was before, during, or after Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, being in the military and identifying as LGBTQ+ has historically meant service members did not feel safe or accepted. Unique experiences of injustice, discrimination, and abuse, both physical and emotional, are the emphasis in this special-focus Healing Warrior Hearts retreat. This confidential environment offers a safe place to talk about the struggles of sexual orientation within the military.
